The Transition Network consists of a national organization and local chapters.
The National Organization, led by TTN's Board provides leadership, sets policy and directs national activities including the website, newsletter, advocacy efforts and transition services.
Chapter Organizations, under local leadership, run their own programs in accordance with policies and guidelines issued by the national organization. Each chapter will provide a network and a range of small group and volunteer activities for chapter members. Chapters are intended to function as multi-service centers offering support and information to the community of women over 50 in their area.
If you are interested in starting a chapter in your area, please contact us at newchapters@thetransitionnetwork.org. Include any relevant contact and location information, and tell us a little bit about yourself. A National Outreach Coordinator will be in touch.
Members who live outside our chapter cities are encouraged to join a telephone peer group, which offers a monthly opportunity to connect with five to seven other lively women in transition in cities across the country. Each group is led by a facilitator, who helps identify common issues, suggest discussion topics and keep the conversation going - though that's not usually an issue after the first call! For more information on our telephone peer group dates and times, and to sign up for a group, please click here.
